Wireless hotspot

Dec 15, 2007 1 Replies

I have a wireless hotspot in my area where I work, but the signal is rather weak. Sometimes I can't get the signal too good at all, but it's there. I wanted to pick the signal up from my car with a better antenna and repeat that signal to my workplace with a much stronger signal. What would be the best way to go about doing that?

Some wireless devices can act as repeaters, but some will only do that with a similar brand. If you don't know what brand of hotspot there is, you could always run a wireless client back to back to an access point. Most are 12 VDC anyway.
