This is a very clear walkthrough on setting up the cheapest WiFi SIP compliant phone Utstarcom F1000G to approximate workings of a cell phone. I have one of these and it's pretty sweet. Free incoming phone number, low international rates and all that. The phone is decent at autoconnecting to any open access points. I haven't cancelled my cell phone service yet but who knows. This thing is great for people who travel internationally a lot. I think I'm going to setup one of these for my nephew who is going to be travelling all over South America next summer.
