I have a wireless network that uses AOl and goes through 4 walls. The router is a Netgear DG834G 54mbps one and i have two desktops with usb adapters that are Netgear 108mbps. The signal im getting on the adapters is only 20% and no connectivity. I also have a laptop with a
54g pcmia card that gets 55% signal and can surf perfectly without problems in the SAME place. Is this because of the 54 /108 difference? The person who bought these was informed by the salesman that it would be fine.
