I'm trying to create a wireless network with my computer in the basement to my xbox 2 floors up in my room. I have a wireless B router and a wireless B gaming adapter. They wouldn't connect with each other probably because of the distance. So if I got a wireless access point and put it next to my wireless router would it boost the signal enough to reach the adapter, or do I need something else entirely for it to work?
