Linksys WRT54G Router Web Interface Problem

I have been trying to use the Linksys WRT54G router web interface since 2 days ago, after i log in and wait for 2 or 3 minutes waiting to see the interface all i get is "unable to connect" or "The connection has timed out" and in both cases it says "Your internet connection seems to be working", but then i try to use another page and the connection stops working, so i have to disconnect the router and connect it again. Can anyone help me?
