Help needed to identify : Ericsson SU - NI - 1D - 3.5b

Sep 19, 2006 1 Replies

Hello, in the bottom of my drawer, I came across a little box with a nice Ericsson logo on the front, and on the back I can read : "Ericsson SU - NI - 1D - 3.5b KRC 161 61/02 R1A

835261ER C/S:E Made in Israek Aug. 2000"

In one end, it has a small 3 pin plug, named "MON", and 2 LED's (PWR / WLNK)

In the other end, it has a 12VDC connector, RJ45 Ethernet connector and an antenna connector.

I "know" that the "SU - NI" stands for Subscriber Unit - Network Interface.

Can someone help me to identify, and possibly use this thing for someting at all ?

/HC

"Harald Andersen" hath wroth:

It's an Alvarion/Breezecom SU-NI (Subscriber Unit - Network Interface) client radio. Methinks it's part of the BreezeAccess II product line. |

should be an Alvarion (Breezecom) specific mailing list, group, or forum somewhere that will be useful for finding a possible customer. I can't seem to find it.

The 3 pin plug is a serial connection used to program and monitor the radio.
