Vivo Gives Network Contract to Ericsson

Brazilian telecoms operator Vivo has awarded a 400 million euro ($506 million) contract to build a mobile phone network to Ericsson of Sweden and China's Huawei, a source close to the process said on Friday.



Vivo, a joint venture between Spain's Telefonica and Portugal Telecom, has around 28.5 million clients in Brazil.
