My shop is located about 400 feet from the house. It has metal siding and interior ceiling. There is a glass light exterior door and a 3' x
3' window in the attic area (both line of sight to house). I would like to send wifi from the house (router sitting in window) to the 3 x3 window (has electricity), then either have a wireless antenna protuding down from the metal ceiling or run cat5 from the window, 50 ft. to the computer. I am currently using a DLink 514 wireless router, Win XP pro SP2 on all computers. There is a DLink PCI Dwl-520 card and a nic on puter in the shop. Have 128 WISP provider, this is connected directly to the router at the house. What equipment do I need?
