Demarc 300mw wifi card not working

Just bought one of their top of the line 300mw RWZ cards and I can't get it to work. It shows up fine in device manager, everything seems installed correctly. I uninstalled my Senao drivers, etc. In the status window it says "Radio Off" though. I don't see where I'm supposed to turn it on. The only sign of life is if I go to "site survey" menu and then it shows the signal noise, etc. But when I hit Rescan under Access Point Browser it doesn't find any. It should be working, I disabled WEP and encryption etc on the router and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?
