Connect a wireless router to another wireless router?? URGENT

I would like to take my computer upstairs which currently has a WMP54g Linksys desktop wireless card, and an MN-500 Microsoft wireless router hooked up to it. This computer receives internet from a new Netgear WPN824 V.2 wireless router. Is there a way for my computer upstairs to send information on a wireless network with the MN-500 and have my computer downstairs connect to it with its wireless router? I do not want to have to by a desktop wireless card or USB stick to receive the network upstairs, and I don't want to use remote desktop applications. Please Help!!
