Have been using Belkin (F5D 7630 - 4a) wireless with my xp laptop for last year or so - no problems. Recently I have needed to password protect the system as I suspect some stranger is logging in. Problem is I select WPA - PSK no server then I have to choose a password (8 to 63 characters) and enter it. When I do so the system loses connection with the router and I have to use router's reset button, re-enter 192.168.2.1 and start all over again by resetting the system. Any help appreciated.
Can't set password.

Connect to the router by cable, not wireless, to make changes like that.
Thanks for reply. I wondered about that but my laptop does not have an ethernet outlet. Sounds like I should borrow one and try my luck.
