Hook flash on a Toshiba Strata DK40?

Hi folks -

We have a Toshiba Strata DK40 phone system with a DKT2010-SD handset, which is hooked up to lines from Vonage (which has worked great so far)

I'd like to take advantage of the Vonage-native 3-way calling (it's cheaper and better quality than tying the lines together on the Toshiba) but I can't figure out how to do the requisite hook-flash to trigger a second dial-out on the same line, without the unit disconnecting completely.

Any suggestions? I'm not a telecom wiz, so if you could speak slowly that would be a help :-)

Thanks!

You need to have one of the buttons on the phone programmed as a 'flash' key and set it up as a centrex flash.

Hey Rich,

Thanks very much for the time to respond. Any idea on the steps to getting this done? Sorry, I warned you I wasn't that experienced here!

Thanks again,

If you're not experienced with Toshiba programming it's something best left to somebody who is. Changing the wrong thing in programming could cause you to not be able to get an outside line.
