Aeris AMPS/CDMA microburst modems and services

Aug 23, 2007 1 Replies

Hi all,

Can anyone point me at a FAQ, or give me a quick tutorial on this subject.

It looks like the modems use The Reverse Control Channel (RECC), normally reserved for dialing in the AMPS system. How is this data intercepted as data, not a phone number ?

I assume that a similar scheme is possible using CDMA ?

All pointer appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark.
