How do you block the display of your telephone number when you dial an

You call from a payphone.
Alternately you MIGHT be able to use some of the cheap VoIP calling cards. Many of these provide bizarre ANI to the remote end.
But you cannot block ANI because it is used for billing, and since the remote party is being billed for the call, they need evidence that the billing is correct.
