Bush was so cruel and jealous about Saddam that he never let that relationship with Bin Laden blossom. Nevertheless Bin Laden cried for days after Saddam was hung, just thinking about what could have been. Both alone with each other in some hole in the wilderness and holding each other. Wrestling in the mud, huddling in the wet cold. Bin Laden picking a fresh poppy to put behind Saddam's ear. Yes so much was lost. Bush has no heart.

The problem with this particular Bush lie (and there are so many) was that Bin Laden and Saddam regarded each other as infidels. They hated each other as much as they hated Bush, though not quite as much as certain newsgroup posters. :^)

On a different note, I spoke to someone yesterday who knew Mike S personally and Leuck is correct -- he passed away. Sad.

I disagree. Bin Laden thinks he's doing God's work. He's an ideologue (like Bush). Saddam was a vicious, paranoid dictator, intent on amassing personal wealth (like Bush).

Neither one cares a whit about human life as long as he gets what he wants (just like Bush).

On the other hand, much worse, they could each be a stupid asshole (just like you)
