I' ve got Hayes Smartmodem 1200 external. I want to set up dip switches for compass. At compass manual discribes settings for 10 dipswitches but mine modem has only 8 dipswitches behind from panel. Any idea?

wrong modem 8 dip switch will not work need 10 dip switch model or CIA modem they sell and couple other they mention in compass database

Do you know if they are string settings to make it work with compass? Or this 8 dipswitch hayes 1200 modem works with other udl software? i.e. na= pco, caddx or paradox?

should work with napco , caddx and dsc you will have to experiment

What is the model? it should be 07000038, if not it's doubtful it will work

I use a Cardinal for Napco, and a USR Sportster for Caddx.
