DSC Smart phone app with 2 partitions

Is there a service/app either cellular or IP that allows the virtual keypad on the app to switch partitions on DSC power series(not NEO)? Neither Starlink connect nor Alula currently offers that feature and as far as I can tell nor does Telguard

I don't know if this holds true for DSC but when using the Starlink Connect with a Napco panel and the IBridge app, the virtual keypad works just like the actual keypad allowing a manual switching from one partition to anothe r. Does the DSC keypad allow for manual switching between partitions?

Alarm.com allows you to do that but not by virtual keypads

The actual DSC keypad does allow switching between partitions. Since there are 5 function keys on the far right of the keypad, each function key can b e programmed for any single option amongst a total number of 30 options. Yo u can program any function key to select only 1 partition, from 1 thru 8. T he Alula/Ipdatatel app does not include function key buttons on it to match the DSC keypads, therefore no special function can be accessed. If they di d include a virtual keypad with all five extra keys, you would theoreticall y be able to do whatever you program those keys to do, from the app.

Update to DSC keypad partition changing from keypad or app.

After posting previously about the changing of partitions using the functio n keys, I realized that there is another way on the keypad itself. If the # key is held pressed for a few seconds, the keypad will emit 3 beeps. Then to change to another partition, you simply enter the number of the partitio n that you wish to go to. The keypad will stay in the new partition mode fo r about 30 seconds.

Unfortunately, it is not possible thru an app, as a phone app cannot detect the difference in pressing time. If there were a series or combination of numbers involved for DSC partition changing, then it most probably would b e possible thru an app.
