Pa. follows ICC International code commision regulations which includes ICC Fire Prevention Code NFPA 72 for fire alarms and NFPA 70 National electrical code.for type and style of wiring books can be purchased from ICC and NFPA

Additionally you must meet the requirements of NFPA 72 for being a qualified individual to install and service fire systems. which there are sevral ways to meet this code including fatory training, nicet card ,afaa classes etc. are you in r near Pittsburgh I can help you out with all the details.
