We have an Option 81C PBX equipped with music broadcast and we have a department in this PBX who wants to play music and annoucements to their callers who are placed on hold. Other departments in the same PBX want their callers to hear a different music/annoucement source, when they are placed on hold. All of these customers share the same DID T-1 trunks. This is NOT a call center environment, nor are ACD's or CDN's a part of the configuration.
Is anybody currently doing this for your customers, and if so, how are you accomplishing this without building a new customer in your pbx.?
