I am trying to feed to monitors with one HD TV sigmal and was wondering if it will work by using a RCA y cable, any answers or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, John

Often wondered if there is a problem with this myself. But wether its recommended or not, I've been doing that the last 2-3 yrs. My current setup has a D-VHS vcr recieving output from my cable box via firewire, I then run the component out from the VCR to my CRT monitor…
