Water meter help

Jun 05, 2005 2 Replies

Hi

I have 2 water meters One is a Neptune T-10 with a mechanical remote counter and the other is a T-10 with a digital remote counter.

Both only indicate cubic meters (I am in Canada) but the dials on the meter go down to 1/10 of a liter. I would like to intigrate one of the meters into my automation system to record usage.

Is there some way of capturing the data. I assume that they are using some sort of pulse counting.

These are my meters so I can do anything I want to them.

Thanks

You might want to indicate what you have for a home automation system. For example, some HAI systems use counters and have time clocks.
