If you can, try the LM14A. It ramps up slowly from zero and ramps back down to zero when you are done with it! It's not a leviton but it SURE is sweet!



Don't know what a "LM14A" is? Google it!

If you don't need the 2-way capabilities, try the smarthome 2384 (same as 2380, but no transmit) or the leviton 2201. They're about the least expensive, "reliable" X10 dimmers you'll find (they both have ramp up/down).

The LM14A (a lamp module) isn't comparable to the switches that you're talking about. Also, it's from X10 Inc. -- a manufacturer to be avoided whenever possible ;-)
