Front porch camera

Can anyone recommend a good but inexpensive front porch camera? It would probably need a nice wide-angle lens, but somewhat weatherproof (the porch is covered), and have somewhat decent low-light capability (the porch light has a motion sensor). Probably looking at wired network. Extra credit if it is powered over ethernet.

If you don't get any responses here, the guys over at cocoontech.com know all about this stuff. There's even a forum dedicated to security. I'm learning a fair bit from those guys.

At the Duke Smart House we're experimenting with a great solar powered, wireless, motion activated camera. I think the thing was designed for exactly you purpose in mind. We found it on

problem for you would be low light conditions, but if you can position it so that your motion activated light shines on the PV cell, then you might be good.
