Norton Internet Security sucks

That software really lacks the minimal functionalities. E.g.:

-cannot detect the network card adapter (that box only has one...)

-cannot change location (need to reboot after changing network mask)

-cannot configure alerts (noway to tell it it's fine to have update notify w/o auto install)

-...

The most incredible thing is that they attach a robot that actually pretends to be a real human person while sending you e-mails that have nothing to do with the questions you put... Symantec must think we are idiots! And, well, after considering that I paid for that rubbish, I must agree that I really am :-(

Always pays to try before you buy... ;)

Hm... hasn't the name "newsgroup" anything to do with news? ;-)

Yours, VB.

May be this shows why people are not talking about Norton once synonimous with AV. Lot of issues with its security products although still I can see great fans of Norton.
