Has anyone who is using NIS 2004 noticed a dramatic slowdown in certain system functions in the last week or so? Like when deleting a file or creating a new folder or something like that?
When I do this savscan.exe takes over my PC and consumes 100% of CPU for up to a minute before Windows actually performs the action I have requested. This just started a week ago . . .
I'm running WinXP Pro with SP2, NIS 2004 with all the updates. I scan regularly with Webroot Spy Sweeper and MS Antispyware, as well as Adaware and Spybot, and nothing shows up . . .
I've Googled savscan.exe and I haven't seen anything about it using
100% CPU . . .George snipped-for-privacy@nospamcomcast.net
