Hi,

I noticed that vsmon.exe is taking lot of my CPU memory

& it making my computer very slow.

What is the best way to stop vsmon.exe & not affecting

the performance of my firewall.

Thanks in advance

vsmon.exe is the backend of ZoneAlarm (where the whole functionality is implemented). To get rid of vsmon.exe: uninstall ZoneAlarm.

If you're having trouble with ZA it might be best to try something else. Some people run it without problems, and others have these weird issues. Easiest solution is to just switch to something else..

Just to clarify: How much Memory is it using? Does it really use CPU when you look at it in Task Manager? How much memory do you have overall? What OS are you using?

As a comparison, on my WinXP machine, vsmon.exe uses 9740ko RAM and runs =

fine.
