firewall alert

When Kerio tells me someone is trying to send my 'puter something, to a port owned by, say, DNSKong could it be from anyone or would it be from DNSKong people? Thanks for education.

It could be from anywhere.

And if Kerio is anything like Mcafee's "firewall" built into their popular anti-virus product, then it could be complaining about responses to packets that -your- system legitimately sent out. If your system happened to dynamically allocate the port that corresponds to DNSKong, and sent a request to somewhere, then when the response came back, Mcafee would think it was being attacked.
