Connection might take longer, depending on the server you connect to.
So your ISP doesn't use it. Doesn't mean that others might not handle it differently.
Good for you. Still, "stealthing" is a waste of time.

Actually, "Stealthing" take NO MORE TIME than any other form of blocking access to my network. I have two options, DISABLE, ENABLE BUT BLOCKED, and with the ENABLED BUT BLOCKED I can also setup a trigger that will block the IP for 20 minutes (that tried to connect on that port).
Blocking and not responding to everything except what you need is the best method.
