Single mode fibre taper with hemishperical end face

Hi,



Does anyone know where I can buy a tapered fibre with a hemispherical end face. I am trying to couple the highly divergent light from a semiconductor laser facet into a fibre with as little feedback as possible and this has been suggested to me as the best compromise. Any other suggestions welcomed!!!

Oz Optics sells them for $100 or thereabouts. I don't know if they're the cheapest, but I got mine in a couple of days.
