Fibre Optic Couplers

I would second that, it's always best to have the right length. BUT, if you are within the distance limitations AND within you signal loss budget, then there are not limits on the number of connectors.

Why not just get patch cords that are long enough?

Hello,

Just looking for opinions on fibre optic couplers. We have to go 20 feet, and we only have 6 foot patch cords. Can we use some simplex multimode fibre couplers to connect three patch cords together?

What sorts of problems, if any, could we expect? NOTE: We're still within our distance limitation.

Thanks,

Dave
