Does anybody know who makes good custom size ferrule of any material, well, not glass? We used to buy from FIS, let them drill the ID to 240 um from the original Stainless steel ferrule of 2.5 mm OD and 125 um ID. The quality was not so great. Precision machine, plastic molding, other tools? I heard people use long taper polishing wire to enlarge holes to desire diameter. Where can we get it?
