Can you have more than one simultaneous site to site vpn tunnel from one interface with one public ip address on an IOS router. An example would be a central office to two branch offices.

Yes, and you can do that with a PIX as well. The tricky part with the PIX comes when you want the two clients to be able to communicate with each other by way of the central system. Some IOS releases have a new dynamic mesh feature that simplies that kind of connection quite a bit.
