Squid proxy and 1710

Anyone setup a squid proxy with a 1700 series or compatible Cisco router before? We currently have a simple setup - our hosts have a default gateway to the inside interface 192.168.0.1; this works fine with no proxy (no ACL, restrictions of any kind with 1710) However, when we proxy a host to 192.168.0.10 (Linux/Squid/WebSense filter) the browse capability stops. We can still ping the outside world but cannot see thru browser. I see there is a Cisco command for WebSense filter but am not quite sure how to implement or if this is the issue. BTW, If I pull the Cisco and put in a simple Dlink or Linksys everything works like it should. We would prefer to use the Cisco. Any ideas, thanks - Bill

You'll need to provide a lot more info for anyone to provide any useful troubleshooting. For starters your router config and your squid.conf file.

As a general rule all your hosts' browsers should be pointed to the IP and proper port on the box that squid is running which in turn should be pointed to your router as its gateway. The router should be configured to only accept traffic from the squid box so users can't bypass the proxy.
