We have a dozen of Cisco MDS switches which are managed by SNMP3. For security reasons, we do not want to create local SNMP users. Instead, we want that all our users be authenticated by a RADIUS server.

Yes, you can do that.
Have you ever implemented this setup?
We want to avoid SNMP users sending their passwrods in clear.
So I think we should use "Auth" option of SNMP3 that hashes the passwords?
Right?
