Preshared secret (isakmp key) lenght

The Preshared Key is not exchanged between the devices: it is used to set state for the hash function. The limit between different vendors is thus merely the minimum of the size the respective vendors support.

Some vendors use the phrase "shared secret" rather than "preshared key".

I had a search through the SonicWall and Netscreen documentation, but I could only find minimum length specifcations in either, not maximum.
