PIX515E slow NAT

we used to have an (old) linux machine for internet NATting That machine is down, so i try to do all internet NATting with our PIX515E

But NATting is extremely SLOW (compared with the linux NAT machine)

PIX515E has 32Mb of memory, but only 18Mb is used. Processortime is max 10% NAT troughtput of PIX is only 6Mbps (yes, this is SLOW) At this time there are 110 "user licenses" (internal machines) in use. There are also 3 VPN tunnels defined, but they all have very fewtraffic

Is this normal behaviour, or should it be much more powerful ??

You mean the Xlate utilization ? (PDM -> Monitoring -> Connection Graphs -> Xlates) during office time is somewhere between 250-300, and has a most used value of 459. Seems not shocking to me.

Or do you mean an other paramter to monitor (if not viewable in PDM, please give command...)
