Hello, does anyone know

1) If the Catalyst 1700 ROUTER, can be firmware upgraded to support IPV6?

2) What would be the least expensive discontinued Cisco Router supporting IPV6?

Yes, some models can. There's like 3 seperate classes of 1700s though. Use the cisco feature navigator to find a version for of code for the one you have.

I had a 25xx working, although trying to get one of those few images would extremely difficult now. You could probably find a few images for the 26xx now-a-days.
