nbar vs. flowscan

Hi everybody,

Could somebody explain to me in a few sentences what is the purpose of using:

1. flowscan
2. nbar

What are the differences between these two programs? Is one more difficult/better than another?

Can they be enabled on Cisco ASA 5510?
