I like to understand how ip accunting works in dependence with different supervisor engines on a 6500 chassis and vlan interfaces. Right now I have a problem because I change on a cat6509 the supervisor from a SUP1 to a SUP2 and also make a n update to 12.1(27)b Is there any main difference in the architecture which will affect ip accounting on a vlan interface ? Before this change I saw much more source - destination pairs while looking with with _show ip accounting_ !!
