Does anybody know if a Hwic-ap-g-a will work with a 1721? Can't seem to find anything saying it won't.

Since 1721 don't have HWIC slots, why would you expect it would work?
I suppose they only compile tables for things that could actually plugin.
(You could start to slide the HWIC into the WIC slot they do have, but it wouldn't seat all the way).
Only 2800/3800 have HWIC slots.
