Equivalent to 3550 ?

Hi all !

I consider buying a 3550 for CCNP training because of its special features, especially QOS and commutation above level 2. But is there a way to get the same software features with another switch, perhaps a 3750 or 2950 ?

Best regards.

2950 has only commutation level 2 features 3750 has all features of 3550 and more 3550 is no longer available. 3560 is the replacment one (Same features, but SFP interfaces instead of GBIC)

c2960 have many of the same features.

3750 and 3560 have layer 3 functionallity with enhanced IOS, I think it's mostly all there in the IP-base IOS as well but is restricted to stub routing. 2960 has replaced the 2590. Both are L2 only.
