Correct match with Juniper P-4OC3-SON-SMIR?

We need to turn up an OC-3 with a provider running a Juniper M40 SMIR card, Part # P-4OC3-SON-SMIR.

Am I correct that a Cisco PA-POS-OC3 is the appropriate choice on our end, and not PA-A1-OC3SM, given the Juniper card at the other end?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

The Cisco PA-A1-OC3SM is an ATM port adapter

If the link is Packet-over-SONET (POS) then the the correct Cisco part might be a PA-POS-OC3 depending on what your router model is ... Some of these Cisco PA are EOS/EOL so double check

I would read the Junipter part number to be a 4 port OC3 SONET single-mode intermediate reach card

Thanks, that is what I was thinking, and why I did not think the ATM card was appropriate. The guys at the other end are die-hard Juniper and aren't (able | willing) to offer Cisco purchasing recommendations.
