Hi Dilan, You can tell the feature set of your router based on the letters in the .bin file. Your IOS is "flash:c2600-ik9o3s3-mz.123-15.bin" the ik9o3s3-mz is your feature set. This feature set is IP/FW/IDS PLUS IPSEC 3DES BASIC. This is more enhanced then the IP/PLUS feautre set. If you have a CCO account with cisco, there are tools to compare/contrast the individual features of each IOS.

Thanks, Jon

That's very nice, thanks.

One small thing c2600-ik9o3s3-mz

-mz m = Run from RAM z = Zip compressed

Some images run from flash (2500 router, few others IIRC) This is important when doing upgrades. e.g. How do you upgrade the running image?

This "unzip" for example uncompresses the image.
