Cisco 837 - MRTG - monitoring SNR?

Hi all,

On the Cisco 837, is it possible to monitor SNR via an OID, using MRTG? I can't find an OID which a) looks like it will work, and b) does work!

All help appreciated.

Jim

Hi Kelvin, that's fabulous, than you! These work perfectly.

If you don't mind, can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? I've run:

snmpwalk -c public -v 1 192.168.1.1

but the numbers you listed do not appear aywhere in the walk. Any idea where I'm going wrong? I shall probably want to monitor more values in the future, so I'd like to be able to find them myself if I can.

Thanks again,

Jim

Here's my entire mrtg.cfg file for my Cisco 837 for MRTG. Note the "/

10" to scale the att and snr values.

I think you may have to use the correct option string for snmpwalk to show you numbers rather than names.

snmpwalk -c public -v 1 -On 192.168.1.1

This works for me on my C837.

Regards, Kelv.
