Cat OS VLAN question

set vlan 100 3/9 when I do this is add port 3/10 to vlan 100 also. When I try and remove it removes both ports. Anyway around this ?? is this a bug??? what is going on...

Are ports 3/9 and 3/10 somehow bridged together?

Even if ports are channeled ( I guess that's what you mean by "bridged") setting one port to another vlan does not affect the other

I'd assume Walter meant 'bridged' as in "bridge-group" as opposed to "channel-group". Bridging ports is not the same as channelling them and I'd assume they would need to have matching vlan configurations.

Afaik CatOS does not have a notion of bridge-group or channel-group.

Rich aka Trouble: would you mind to post the relevant config for that ports? I.e.

sh running-config all | i 3/9|3/10
