Can someone please HELP

Hello,

One of our remote offices started to have problems with the connection to our main office, where it runs very slow (we have a full point to point T1 line). I took a look at the interfaces and here is what I saw:

Router A Main Office Serial0/0 is up, line protocol is up Hardware is PQUICC with Fractional T1 CSU/DSU Internet address is 192.168.1.110/24 MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1544 Kbit, DLY 20000 usec, reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255 Encapsulation PPP, loopback not set Keepalive set (10 sec) LCP Open Listen: CDPCP Open: IPCP Last input 00:00:28, output 00:00:10, output hang never Last clearing of "show interface" counters 3w5d Input queue: 0/75/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops:

Router B Remote Office Serial0/0/0 is up, line protocol is up Hardware is GT96K with integrated T1 CSU/DSU Internet address is 192.168.1.111/24 MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1544 Kbit, DLY 20000 usec, reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255 Encapsulation PPP, LCP Open Open: IPCP, loopback not set Keepalive set (10 sec) Last input 00:00:00, output 00:00:00, output hang never Last clearing of "show interface" counters 7w6d Input queue: 0/75/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops:

I can't figure out from where are the errors coming, could this be the line itself? Any ideas, help, advice is greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance,

It's most definitely a line problem. You should call your service provide to have them check their line. Also, clear the counters on the interfaces so you can see how fast the errors are increasing. Another thing you can check is the cable that's used to extend the T1 from where the LEC dropped it off to where the router is. If you have a controller interface in the router, check it for errors there - it can help the LEC determine the problem. Good luck

Thanks for the advice JC, how can I check the controller interface for errors?

I called AT&T (our service provider) they ran both intrusive and non intrusive tests and couldn't find anything, they're going to look at performance monitoring to see if anything shows up. Any other thigs that could be causing this besides a line issue?
