C3560 vs C3750 switches

Jul 13, 2005 2 Replies

Can anybody tell me the main differences between these 2 switches except the stacking capability? I was thinking of installing a C3750-12G EMI as a router but why wouldn't I install a C3560-12g instead?

Hi Jon,

You can view "side-by-side feature comparisons" of Cisco Catalyst Switches with the Cisco Product Advisor:

Apart from the stacking there is no difference, all other hardware is exactly the same and up to now all software also. But...

The model C3560-12g does NOT exist. If you want 12 SFP ports, you can only choose the C3750-12g, sorry.

Regards Fred
