C2950 SI and CoS

Colleagues,

Do you know if Catalist 2950 running _Standard_ Image is capable of properly processing 802.1p CoS marked frames ?

If I mark a vlan with "set cos" on a router, will the catalist prioritize this traffic accordingly?

Thanks a lot for any input.

Yes, provided CoS is configured properly on the switch.

How can I make sure that this is actually happening? show what ? debug what? If you know this from experience, how did you make sure?

The Standard Image has no CoS configuration statements. That is what my question was about: if 802.1p will still work on a Standard Image if the Ethernet frames are marked properly according to the 802.1p specifications.

Or better yet, if we have a switch running Standard Image between two switches running an Enhanced Image, will the 802.1p CoS information lost in it or what?

I am afraid you did not understand my question.
