ASDM sees traffic maxed out, but who is causing it?

Jun 11, 2009 3 Replies

The ASDM GUI is a pleasant change from the antiquated CLI of IOS (I have dyslexia and cannot use CLI) but...

I can see when our 200 PC lan is maxing out the t1 line in the "Outside Interface traffic usage" window

but how do I see which of the 192.168.0.x Vista PC's is using it?

Thanks

I would use SNMP from your switch to see traffic usage, maybe setting up something like Cacti to graph that for you.

I looked up cacti and I can only find it for unix

I cannot use any unix variant as I cant use command line - dyslexia

anything for Windows?

nevermind, I found cacti for windows

thanks

Its just hard to believe that ASDM doesnt tell you who using using the bandwidth
