I have a 3750 with currently 1 fiber uplink to a firewall. I need to run another fiber uplink from this switch to a standby firewall incase one firewall fails it will use the second uplink. So basically the second uplink is used for standby. what kind of config do I need to put on this uplink port?

You just configure both ports exactly the same - same VLAN, same speed/duplex, etc. Both links will be "Up/Up" from the switch perspective. And "Active/Standby" state will be handled by firewalls themselves - standby firewall will not send anything on it's LAN ports until primary fails, and it gets active.
Good luck,
